 Four hundred pieces of cake were served but you had to be fast... 1100 people showed up for the event. |

2007 Abbotsford 1st Annual Spirit Lantern Festival ~ Phenominal Success!! Saturday September 22, 2007 |
 Baraa Safaa with two adorable children in the lantern making area. Their costumes showed that they were truly "in the spirit". |
 Stories & crafts in the Children's Tent delighted our younger participants. |

Even the volunteers were happy! Baraa Safaa, in the middle, did double duty as one of our entertainers with his Spanish guitar & songs. |

Industrious, creative, busy little lantern makers let their imaginations run wild. |

The Gatka martial arts group sets up an information tent. |

Stella Johnson & her crew create an inspirational labyrinth for the night. |

Kai & Lia, the Old Time Fiddle Kids entertain the crowd. |
